ETEC's Community Decorators have given a helping hand to Sunderland and North Durham Royal Society for the Blind.
Apprentices from the Back on the Map funded project have painted a new sign which now takes pride of place outside the Society's office at 8, Foyle Street, Sunderland.
The sign is yellow with black lettering as these colours are more suitable for people with visual impairment. The materials were donated free by a Decorators Merchant in Sunderland.
Community Decorators is a project which provides painting and decorating support for community projects and individuals living in the Back of the Map area of Hendon and the East End of Sunderland. The project is run by apprentices under the supervision of trained ETEC staff.
