World Sight Day will take place this year on Thursday 9th October 2008. Sunderland and North Durham Royal Society will commemorate this event with a special Service in Sunderland Minster commencing at 2pm.
World Sight Day is an annual event which takes place around the World to highlight the problems encountered by visual impairment.
