Sunderland and North Durham Royal Society for the Blind operates a Resource Centre in its office at 8, Foyle Street, Sunderland. The Centre stocks a wide range of specialist equipment for sale such as talking clocks and watches, kitchen scales, tape measures, symbol canes and many other items designed to help the visually impaired.

The Centre also provides the use of a variety of electronic magnifying devices which enable the user to read, write and view documents and images in the comfort, privacy and safety of our office.
