Fundraising / Sponsorship

As a local Charity, Sunderland and North Durham Royal Society for the Blind relies heavily on donations, grants, sponsorship and legacies to ensure the continuation of our services. All funds raised by the Society stay within Sunderland and North Durham. Each contribution makes a real difference to our work on behalf of blind and visually impaired people.

The Great Cumbrian Run
To date, over £200 has been raised in sponsorship for the Society thanks to two young North East men who took part in the Great Cumbrian Run during October. Further sponsorship is expected.
